3. Best Grocery Store Cashier of the Month -- Zhada Marshall of Farm Fresh in Ghent gets the job done with the speed of Superwoman. Courteous and nice as well. Nice job.

4. Best Centennial Homecoming Celebration of the Month -- Congratulations to Taylor Elementary School staff in Norfolk’s West Ghent neighborhood for the warm hospitality on this special day. Alumni of all ages came to celebrate the 100-year history of the school last month. The annual carnival was also a huge success
